The Davis Pathfinder Project was a class project that the city asked us to create solutions for. They wanted to create a sign system for the 13 mile bike loop that goes around town, so that cyclists and pedestrians could better know where they were going and would have an easier time navigating. We started with sketches and collected inspiration from studying other cities navigation systems. The image above is the final poster that was presented to the city that measures 3'x4' summarizing the project.
Seven sign types were created including Orientation, Identification, Etiquette, Directional, Donor, Celebratory and Interpretive. These signs are shown in digital rendering and explained below.
